I like it Hartman- reminds me of the Range Rover like above. Looks "classy" or something. I guess classy doesn't really describe it but I guess it's better than a redneck or a panting dog :p

i did a write-up for opening the hood...

I think, instead of opening the hood, you should remove the entire dash and sawzall the firewall to get to the engine.

I mean, I really like that clean front end look and I wouldn't want to see you ruin it........

:-(

I usually like the things you do with your truck hartman-
But i gotta say - i definatly do not like the look of this one.
On the rangerovers the grills have a premolded spot in them for the logo off to the side. so it looks alright.

On the Billet grill on an explorer - way down there in the corner - it looks very out of place. Kinda goes against the whole smooth appearance of your truck.

Plus it makes it look all out of balance too.

Thats just my 2cents. Since ya put it on- drive with it for a while - it will either stay or you will hate it and take it off.

kinda like me with my billet grill - I liked my billet grill at first.. but after 5-6 months i took it off cuz it just didnt look very sleek to me.

i dont know... i look at it and i dont like it... then i look and its cool... then i dont like it again. then, it starts to look cool again. i think you need to roll with it for a few days and see if it grows on you. i may have an actual opinion after i see it some more.

BTW- you open the hood with a stick, screwdriver, etc.

I don't like it, it is different but to me it looks like it fell out of the right place and you just stuck it there.

I like it, nothing worng with some ford pride.

My Billt grill is getting old and falling apart on me, I guess the trail rattled it too much. I don't know if I am going to get another one or just go to the junk yard and get a stock grill. Although I do find it funny when I take my truck to the shop and they can't figure out how to open to hood.

I did the same thing on my '99 XLT about 5-6 months ago. It looked cool for a while, but eventually i decided to take it off.
I even put it in the middle for a few days, but again, didn't really like it.

I think the grill looks better without one.

Give it a few days......the decide.
