So my seat belt like doesn't work anymore. I put it in the hole and it just comes out. It appears that the spring device that holds the button up is no longer operational as the button is constantly suppressed as if it were being pushed. Has anyone else had this problem and is so how did you fix it? Id feel better driving around with a working seatbelt :/

You need a new belt receiver. They're online, or a junkyard part if you have one around.

Yep you need a new one I think it was a #21 torx bit to remove it but dont quote me it was a long time ago when i did mine. like $5.00 at the junk yard

Dean, you must be thinking #20 Torx, as they come in increments of 5 (5, 10, 15, 20). Just trying to keep the confusion to a minimum.

+1 Junk yard is way to go. You don't even have to worry about color matching, as you can usually slip the old cover off and reuse the existing one from your vehicle.

PS Until you get it fixed, you can probably slide something in there to pop button out each time before you buckle up. Old emery board from my wife worked for me.

If you rarely have a passenger, you could swap it for theirs... I mean aren't most holding on for dear life anyways? :D
