What is this hole for ????

Per the following link, I'm pointing to a vertical hole that is in front of the center console that houses the CD changer on my recently purchased '96
eddie b. Does anyone know what this hole was used for ? I also notice that I need to pull up on the armrest cover pretty hard to open it. Is it possible that there use to be a release button in or near this verticle hole that you would press or pull in order to release the armrest ????

Then again, what are those two little holes above my finger for ???

the big hole is designed for a small box of kleenex so u can grab cleanex.. those other holes i have no clue. i dont have them on my 98

Right the big hole is for klenexes. The other 2 are from a removed carphone. Whoever had the car befor you had a car phone and removed it. I had one in my 97 EB. It flipped out of the console and was quite annoying. The hole on the left was for the bracket, the one on the left for the cord.

Ryno you have pic of this set up whn you had your phone ? cause I do have this option too but don`t have the phone on it..but the word phone still appears on my radio when I start the engine ?? any clue ?

Actually the jpeg coloring is not quite correct. My interior is a more browner than what you see. The stock tunes in this machine is unreal (ok..I'm easy).

Not a bad idea especially if you wound up with a date you now regret having next to you. On the other hand the other two buttons are probably for a stun system that will keep your date contained especially after she discovers how strange the driver really is after listening to hours and hours of BS about this wonderful site...

Sorry Daniel, I dont have a pic of that as I took the phone out the first day I got my truck. Fisher, I am assuming you mean the phone button on the left windsheild pillar. Yes mine still mutes the radio and says "Voice directory empty" when I push it. The phone originally had a voice recognition feature for dialing.
