What is this part?

It's a spherical shaped plastic thing mounted in the engine bay near the front on the passenger's side. Has two lines going into it. I know it's in the 2nd gens... dont know about any other years.

The evaporator? Is it mounted vertically? Towards the rear of the engine compartment?

probably the vacum valve for the preston that goes from the rad to the heater.

What does this do? Mine got crushed in my crash (whoops section). Easily replacable?

The lines going into it looked to be intact - however the canister was obliterated.
