I have the 4.0 engine and want to get a new exhaust mainly to get a benefit in power, but I don't really want a whole lot of noise. Now, I realize that this is kinda a hard question to ask, but what is the quietest, but yet a pretty good performence wise exhaust? Thanks
Randolph

I'd suggest just getting a custom cat-back done. Get the shop to mandrel bend some 2 1/4" pipe. Get whatever muffler they suggest to be quite yet better flowing than the stock one. If you don't mind spending a little extra, get stainless steel or aluminized piping and muffler. That way they won't corrode and rust out.

go with borla, lots of power and not all that much louder. buy it from truckperformance.com, they'll get ya a good deal

get the Flowmaster Force II System. www.jegs.com has them for a 4-door for $158.99 and they report 15 HP and 25 Ft/Lbs of Torque

Go with the custum cat back w/ a Flowmaster. They make plenty of mufflers from quiet to loud, that will improve flow. I had my local guy make me a 2.5" catback system for $90 plus the cost of the muffler. Good luck!
