What mild mods for 5.0

I've been reading through things in the search regarding mild mods, or bolt on mods. Some questions have come to me I'm not finding in the searches.

1. Some are using larger MAF bodies in their open element intakes. I've found both 75mm Mustang, a 90mm Granitelli in the local Craigslist relatively cheap, and a couple Cobra MAF's. What if any would work best when changing to open element?

2. Found an upper plenum, spacer, throttle body and lower plenum for a '95 Cobra. Would there be any benefits to these items or is there more modifications than worth the hassle?

3. Exhaust answers have been everywhere in the searches. What exhaust kits are out there, and what is the general conscenses? I've seen MAC listed and more custom applications with 50 series mufflers etc. I'm not in a position to custom make an exhaust, but replace the stock rusty unit in the near future.

Much appreciate any help with the mild mods momma bear won't really know much about. Looks like the MAC cold air may be in the near future though hence the reason for asking about the MAF's

Exhaust:
The 50 series is awesome for your particular needs, gives a more aggressive sound outside while adding no noticable sound on the inside (if shes asks just say theres a hole in the exhaust haha). This is also considering you'll leave the resonator on.....

MAC intake:
You'll hear a noticable deep throaty tone when accelerating, but it is a worthy mod and by far one of the easiest. Plus it will technically pay for itself increasing your MPG, but will initially set you back around 170 I believe.....
