its just that simple, what kind of paint should i use to paint my grey bumper crap molding pads? where can i get it? and how much should i be expecting to pay for a little bit of it? (i'm only gonna paint about 2 sq feet of the stuff. can't tell you exactly whats gonna happen, but when i'm done there will be pics. this painting will be in conjunction with a bunch of other stuff.)

any help will be greatly appreciated

3 coats of Duplicolor Adhesion Promoter
3 coats of Duplicolor Bumper Black Flexible paint
2 coats of clearcoat (optional)

It works, trust me.

drew, the Duplicolor bumper paint works great. cheap, too. only problem is, you can only get it in black (that i know of). if you want white, you gotta go auto paint. just make sure they put a flex agent in it.

Yeah, I've only found it in black. It might be a tad difficult to find it in white, but I'm sure it exists somewhere.

BTW, did you change your screen name?

I just took mine to my friends body shop and had him spray it. I'm not sure what he used but I got my bumper trim, running boards, EE airdam, and windjammer all painted green to match. It looks damn good. Cost me $350 for all of it and that includes the major work he did on the EE airdam to get it smooth... "light sanding and paint" MY ASS!!

I'm on my way to get my tires mounted on my cobras right now, so count on some pics of truck soon guys. :bounce:

dang son, that x looks sweet with the bumper caps and all other plastic painted body color!! i wanted to do mine black just so they are not that ugly (in my opinion) lightish grey, but if i could get it done body color, id be on that like white on rice!!
