i bought fender flares off of someone on the board and since they were already installed, the sticky strip is no longer on the edge of the flares, so waht kind of sticky stuff should i use when i place them on my X? some kind of urethane glue or what? they are the performance products flares.

You can just use adhesive silicone. I tried liquid nails once but it didn't work for very long.

Or you could use good automotive mounting tape.

You can get super strong emblem tape at Wal-Mart and automotive stores. Make sure you get the kind that is made by 3M, and has a red backing. This is the same stuff that is used to hold on trim pieces, emblems, etc. Make sure you clean all the old stuff off before you put new on.

i'm pretty sure thats what was on there. just like my ventshades. they sell it in long strips like that which i have to cut? that would bve what i need.
