Right now I have my system with 2 10" subs and an amp hooked into the factory battery. I also have a number of neons hooked into the battery. Is this a possible fire hazard? Is it possible I will not have enough juice to power all that? IF so what would be a good alternate power source? Thanks

The only way it would be a fire hazard is if you did a piss poor job wiring, and left exposed wires, etc. Using the battery should be fine, unless you see a lot of dimming in your lights when you run your system with the truck idleing. If this is the case, I recomond getting a larger alternator. You might not have enough juice to run everything at the same time, in which case you would just have to start the truck up...hope this helps a little...

The only way it would be a hazzard is if you had some wire short out and you did not fuse everything properly

Like everyone said, for what you're running you shouldn't have a problem. Turn up the volume to your regular listening level and see if all the lights on your dash dim when the bass beats hit. If they dim drastically you may wanna consider upgrading the battery. I don't think an alternator upgrade or stiffening caps are necessary. I'd recommend Optima batteries, the yellow top is better than the red top tho $50 more, approx. I run a yellow top in mine and I've got 2 15's and 3 sets of 80 PRO XT PIAA's running on mine and they're all ok.

Fuses

Totally agree with what other's have said...........Make sure you have properly FUSED everything
