what should i use

I'm a big fan of Champion spark plugs, just because i've never had problems in the last 25 years and everytime I changed to other brands I always felt the cars worked differently, mabe its just me anyhow, I installed regular Champion plugs on my 93 xlt 4x4, and then I read the label that it takes only platinum plugs, so is there a difference or what. I have't started the truck yet just because I'm not at that point yet, so before I do could someone let me know if I've gone the wrong way on this one and what plug would you suggest, thanks

those plugs should work fine as long as you gapped them properly.
I have run teh Champion plugs in the 4.0L and it works just fine.

I would recomment the Motocraft or Autolite platinum plug for that engine however, OEM recommended

Thanks, I'll see how it works and then I'll change over to the recommended plugs. Tommorow I'll be changing the oil and gas filter and hopefully the beast will start and I could continue with everything else, brakes,front and back,shackles ect...........
