Hey guys, I can get a set of 2000 Cobra rims w/ 245-45-17 tires on them. (not too much tread) (25.68 in. tall w/ 4.35 in. sidewalls) Will I be able to run these tires for a while or will it ride horrible. Also, what size tires would you recommend when I replace them?

the rims are 17 x 7.5 (thoughts)
Thanks

i would say at least 265s for cobra rims... those rims are too wide for the little tire you plan to put.... the 265 is minimum....

265 would be better than 10 inches wide. The rim is only 7.5. Will they mount them?

oh...in my experience cobras were either 8 or 9....never 7.5.... heck, the sock rims are 7.....in that case id say a 245 or 255

I have 255/55R18 on my 93 Sport and they fit no problem.

ryan, what is your rim width?

18x9

Does anybody know for sure how wide a 2000 cobra rim is?
Also, if it is 7.5 can I put a 255/50 on it?

Thanks

They should fit on 7.5" wides. I have 275/40ZR17 on 17x8.5" rims. They fit fine on my 96.

do you have any pics of your truck?

Yeah i do but I need to put them up on a site. They'll be up in a little bit.
