What To do with A 91 ford explore sport 4x4

I have a 1991 ford explore sport 4x4 and now that I have gone off road a few times and had some fun with this I know call apon the great knowledge of all you guys out there.

I would like to upgrade my suv with some new power for off roading and driveablity. My only worries are cost. I would like to increae the hp of my explore currently in it is an all stock 4.0L v-6. Now what can i do to it to get it some more kicks. Finnaly i would like to know what can i do to the body of the car. Like light and other features. Thanks alot.

It all depends on how much you can spend. :D

Since you are so close, I suggest you come out to the Truckhaven 2002 run in a couple weeks, and check out everyones' trucks. You'll see about every possible mod.

Well that was kinda my question what can i do to it and how much is it going to cost. pretty much iam looking for a website that could atleast tell me what kinda compatiblity my suv will have with other aftermarket parts. If anyone knows of any please post it for me

Stop buy the chat room, ask the guys...There are alot of us out there..I too have a 91 Sport..A list of my mods and pics can be found by clicking on my signature below..If you have a question, just ask...
As there are so many different mods., and so many different opinions, you just gotta weed though the BS..

What do you plan doing with this X? Trail only... daily driver what? If this is for trail only then don't waste your money on the engine...If the 4.0 is in good running order leave it alone and put the money into the axles...Low gears and lockers will benefit you a helluva alot more than a high HP motor...IMO anyways....But of course it all depends on what you want out of it:)
