I know for my insurance I get a break if I have good grades, and also if I install an alarm system in my vehicle. Does anyone know about any other things that could help you save some cash? Especially when you can save insurance money by adding something to your truck?

you could get married ;)
then your insurance really drops. mine wa almost cut in half when i got married.

Defensive Driving Course
Here in New York, if you take this 6 hour course it can save you 10 % of your insurance bill. This savings lasts for 3 years and after that you must attend the course again. My wife and I have both taken it twice in the past 6 years. Cost of course 40.00, insurance savings for both of us, 600.00 over 3 years.
In addition, you may substitute the 10 % reduction for having 4 points removed from your license that you incurred in the past 18 months. Once again savings,
when points removed insurance goes down.
I'm not certain if this law applies in New Hampshire, call you insurance company and inquire.

AGE!! Biggest drop you will see is when you hit 25 years old. Multi car and owning a home insured by the same company will also reduce your rates.

Yep, turning 25 and getting married dropped my insurance the most. Turning 21 helps too. About all you can do till then is just try not to get any tickets. Insurance is high as hell when you are young, I was there too. Just remember that it does get better.

If you were tell your insuranance co. that you only drive 1-2 miles to work, you might get a low mileage discount. Also, you could also tell them that you are single with a child, this will often drop it a couple hundred bucks. Of course, I don't endorse either of the methods, nor does the insurance co. I work for :)
