so on some recent adventures i had, i was parading through some muddy water and i had recently changed my air filter and forgot to reinstall the vent hose that is connected to the valve cover and the ish got deep truck started to bog down a little and run funny so i drove the the convenient store popped the hood and noticed the hose was off. i then opened the air filter box and pulled the filter out and of course it obviously fell apart when removed due to all the mud and water the air filter box was full of muddy water.
now two weeks later i was driving to work and noticed my truck was ticking. after a couple of days observing the tick i found that it sounds like it is under the valve cover passenger side and it only does it after the truck warms up to normal running engine temp so what im asking is any ideas to what this might be i will be moving in like 3 weeks so my stuff is all packed i will have to wait till after the move to possibly do some checks how ever i could possibly go the the auto skills shop to check it out idk any input to the issue would be greatly appreciated. thanks in advance!!
the pic is after the mud hole i figured i would do a lil hill climbing lol
