What's the point of this thread besides starting a flame war?

I like both street and offroad Explorers. If I had enough money, I would have one of each. Lowering is a trend, just like lifting.

well said hartman, i agree i dont mind the lifted trucks if their explorers and i like lowered trucks... i just dont like when someone lashes out on the lowered ones for no reason.

So much for this thread. I was just asking a question. Is lowering you X just for looks? That's all. People really have a way of twisting what people say, so there is no meaning left in the original message.

Well, I guess. I was just asking what is the point in lowering. The answer is for looks. Question answered. It is one of those things we can debate forever like so many other topics. I know now to never do this again.
