What's your Explorer mod/wish list look like??

Here's what I'm going to use to rebuild the 302.

Trick Flow Twisted Wedge Aluminum Heads

Trick Flow Forged Crank 3.40” stroke, 5.400” rod

Trick Flow Pistons 347 stroker (302) 10:1

Ford Racing E-303 Camshaft

Ford Racing Roller Rockers stud mount

Eagle ESP H-Beam Rods 5.400”


I left out the littel bits and pieces, still working that stuff out. These are the main parts I'd like to get.

install parts I have been gathering for months!!!

6" coils, ditch 3"
Custom shock mounts and coil buckets, 5" suspension lift
3" cut and turned D35 beams, 2" increased track width.
Glass 3" fenders
Rear Duff flares
33x12.5 mudders
2" rear blocks

Then next year:
New OHV 4.0L, built
body repair and paint with undercoat

THEN I will be close to finished and I can just WHEEL it for a while! hehehe....

The trick is to get Brett to let me use the OHV that came out of Joe's 94 when he did his HO conversion. That way I will have his old tranny and engine and the original 94 Dtrain would be complete, bonus is that builder still has the BORLA headers attached, much better then my JBA's.....I dont think Brett will swap me builders....

I'm down to about $4500 on the payoff and I'm thinking seriously of knocking it on out in the next couple of months.

1) Remove big subwoofer box and build custom stealth Box for single 10" DVC. (I need my truck back!)
2) Custom DUAL 2.25" Flowmaster exhaust system. (It's a V8!)
3) Baumman Engineering Shift Kit
4) Install Aux Transmission filter
5) Aux Gauges including: Trans temp, Oil Pressure, Oil Temp
6) Install 1.25" of Lift
7) 31x10.5" tires
8) Control Trac Transfer case (I need 4low!)

OK guys, this isn't exactly what you all like, but I heart it.
I want to

1) convert from 4wd to 2wd

2)drop 4-5 inches

3)get a Stillen body kit

4)new airfilter, headers, anything I can think of for my engine

5)Flowmaster exhaust

6)Altezza taillights

7)clear corners, and change factory bullbs to HID

8)new rims and tires (don't know yet)

9)new sound system, preferably Infinity

10)leather interior

11) 3 TV's, with 3 computers inside, and an XBOX

I think that's about it

3) Electric Fan Swap

4) Front and Rear Sway Bar Swap from a 1998 Explorer with Poly Urathane Bushings.

5) A whole bunch of things that cost too much money.
