I have been working on my wish/mod list for my Explorer for the summer months. A few I need to get going before the 4x4 Meet & Greet at the end of May up here.

Some items I have priced already and some are on their way to me:

1. Swap out Superlift 5.5" coils with Skyjacker 6" coils (working shipping out now)
2. Replace broken Extended Superlift Radius Arms (Warranty)
3. Build custom snorkel (local 4x4 shop has Safari cap for $50)
4. Add a Warrior 45x54 one piece roof rack (new freight damage very minor for $150)
5. Dual front shock Skyjacker set up (Included loops and the one additional Skyjacker lift shock I need per side for $112)
6. On Board Air with front and rear outlets (Will use belt driven haven't worked up price yet, still need to get a list off parts needed will use existing compressor)
7. Set of front and rear fender flares from Warn for 2dr ($278) or Perry's fender front and rear (price unknown)
8. Hi-Lift Jack locking mount ($22.49)
9. 35x12.5x15 spare tire and rim to match existing (need help Identifying rim, can't find it)
10. Installing Carbon Fiber Dashkit (Just arrived $14.99)
11. Adding CB (something cheap from local pawn shop seen them for $20 bucks)
12. Adding a Toyota electronic tiltmeter (missed one on Ebay still searching salvage yards nationally)
13. Painting lift parts (getting input on color looks like red, won't start until new radius arms arrive)
14. Adding K&N filter (in the mail now $5)
15. Replacing all front bushings, (have Moog RA bushings and Axle pivot bushings in hand now cost was $28 w/o shipping)

Well that is what I have going on with my Explorer in the upsoming months.

1) SAS swap with a D44 or D30 by cory
2) KKM
3) apten chip?
4) skip 2-3 and go to 1

:D Seriously, about every penny I make I am going to save for a SAS, I found out that it will only be a few grand more (mabey one or two) than getting a superlift and getting it installed, so I'm freaking out. I had no idea it was that inexpensive.

1. Rolled/Totaled 99 Explorer V8 4WD to pillage for parts, which leads me to #2.

2. V8 swap, engine to be stroked and built with forged components and premium parts.

3. Superlift 4" lift for the front half (already have SOA in the back).

4. Supercharger

5. 150 shot of nitrous

That's about it. Short list. It has everything else I want already.

This is my "soon-to-be-reality" wish list:

1: Jba ceramic coated Cat4ward headers
2: 255 lph fuel pump
3: BBK supercharger system
4: Autometer guages: Boost/Vac, IAT, Trans Temp, Oil pressure
5: Billet Grille
6: Hood Louvres
7: Repair minor rust damage on rocker panels

In the future:

1: Regearing
2: 3" lift and 31's and new wheels

And....probably never because it costs too damn much:

1: Repaint to a different color :D

I haven't installed mine yet will be a few weeks. I have other more pressing projects. You can do a search by username for bigbadfred he has a 94 with white guages and a carbon fiber overlay over it. The pics are on his homepage.

I'm going to try and make myself fix all my existing problems before I go and do any other mods!

1. I need a '96-'97 rear 4404 tcase housing (so I can enjoy the luxury of having a speedometer.

2. I need a front sway bar! (Found one, should be on the way soon)

3. Either try and fix my bent hatch or get a new '98+ hatch (forklift accident)

4. New body mount bolts

5. New leaf pack bolts

6. Recover center console lid

7. Put all the interior plastic back in the truck

8. Replace other three door speakers with JBLs (almost have them on the way)

9. Fix leaky weatherstripping on passenger front door

10. Put fender lining back in

11. Front bumper brackets. (Design already at shop, just waiting to get 'em back)

12. Put the drawtite back in for summer boating

-----------------------------------------------------------------

Then I can add some fun mods

13. E-303 (I think I decided on this one over the 4" sus lift)

14. O1+ Sport Speedo Cluster & Center Console

That's pretty much my realistic mod list. :D

1. Get rid of the damn 2wd X.

2. Get a black eddie bauer V8 4wd

I will update this if i get a 4wd.

Non Explorer:
I wish I could freakin fall asleep, it is now 350am and i have a final at 730 and I am wide awake...You better believe that at 9am my happy ass is gonna be sleeping like a rock.

hmm let's see here

Street list:

1. 20" rims(already have tires)
2. EE Airdam
3. Custom hood(or Saleen)
4. full Saleen suspension
5. flares and bumpers painted to match body
6. rollpan
7. 4 door leafs
8. billet grille
9. remove roof rack support bars, fill holes & repaint
10. navigation/dvd system
11. full leather interior
12. custom exhaust work
13. paint interior pieces to match body color
14. lots of hot chicks staring at me when i drive by(while my g/f isnt with me of course)

Offroad list:

1. 5-6" susp. lift
2. 35" tires
3. chrome AR wheels
4. roof rack
5. lots of PIAA offroad lights
6. SOA
7. shackles
8. add-a-leafs
9. 3" body lift
10. winch
11. bumper with winch mount!
12. tire carrier on hatch
13. CB & all the goodies
14. lots of hot chicks staring at me when i drive by(while my g/f isnt with me of course)

I have two wishlists that are always getting switched around, anyway, here they are:

Black truck (4x4)
1. Fullsize spare (ordering this week)
2. CoryL rear bumper/tire carrier to put full size on (still gotta talk to him about that)
3. winch and front bumper combo. (not sure what I'm using for this)
The above will be finished in the next 2 months, this winter I want to work on:
4. D44 conversion using eiether a cut down 78-9 HP44 housing cut down with James duff extended RAs, or Rubicon D44 housing (change the carrier and shafts of course) with Rubicon express longarm kit. Keep 4.56s up front on selectable locker. Will try and save up to do Atlas conversion at the same time to save having to get driveshafts made twice. Would use other axle combo if I find a good deal, like a set of D60s with good gears, or fullsize D44/9" with good gears and just go fullsize.

White truck (street)
1. New Corbeau seats
2. re-do interior to dark gray with aluminum accents

Way down the line...
3. 302HO/WC T-5 swap from Cobra Mustang or
twin turbo 3.0 DOHC SHO motor. Hmmmmmmm, drool, both are sooo hot.

Easy Matt, you get any more excited and i think you're going to hurt yourself. :) Lets see if i can remember all the things i have/want/need to do in the short term

install new seats from a 99 Explorer (still need seat tracks)

pull out carpet and herculine the floor

herculine rockers

mount my kc daylighters and piaa 520s on my brushgaurd

Build snorkle

fix 4wd shift linkage

there some other things im sure ill think of later.

What I need for this summer:

Amps to power speakers and subwoofer
Rocksliders
Tow hooks front and rear

Realistically, that's all I'm going for for this summer. Hehe, I'm easy to please :D

A wish list....
A winch
A locker for the front (since it's a wish list, let's make that a selectable locker)
Sometimes I wish I had a good full time 4WD transfer case.
Sometimes I wish it was a little higher off the ground. Maybe do a spring over axle. (Since my BII is already spring over axle, this one doesn't apply to my BII.)
There are also times I wish that I had tool box outside of the cargo area. Something under the hood maybe or maybe a long, skinny box that would attach to one of the frame rails underneath.
