Are the bolt patterns on jeep wrangler & ford explorer the same? I've seen some used rims advertised as "ford/jeep rims". I have a 92 explorer xlt & a 95 jeep wrangler. Am wondering if I can swap my stock 15's for her (my wife's jeep) rims with 31x10.50's just to...try them out on my explorer...to make sure that's the size I want on mine.

The bolt patterns are the same. With stock Jeep rims you will probably find that the center bore may be too small and the backspacing is not the same. Aftermarket Jeep rims fit with no problems as they are closer to our backspacing and the cnters are slightly larger than stock.

Thanks for the info. I'll throw my wife's aftermarket Jeep rims with 31x10.50's on to see how my clearances are before investing in a set for my explorer.
