Yeah I hit an indicated 130, however after a little speed testing today, ie: driving along side a mate doing 70mph, my speedo was showing about 76 mph, therefore one of them is out a little, and I guess it's mine after changing the tyres it's bound to throw the calibration out slightly...even so it's still well over 100......doesn't do the fuel economy much good though !!! just under 3/4 of a tank produced about 150-160 miles !
Unless my math is wrong, that still means you hit about 119 MPH. Damn fast in an Explorer. At that speed, I would fear for my life if I were in an Explorer! I maxed my '94 out at 95 once and that was enough for me.
