are you looking for rti #s or what.. and on what year design? also rti score depends on the degree of ramp used....

ok

on a 1st gen Ex if we disconnected swaybars front and rear what would our wheel travel be. I don't think they measure wheel travel by RTI ramp scores. But full hang is what I was thinking. I was really thinking that they measured wheel travel from full stuff to full droop. You tell me.

Swaybars disconnected? Can you do that and drive around?

I think that I remember reading that the front was around 8". The rear, with leafs and solid, should be a bit more than that.

I'd guess Robb is pretty accurate with a front of 8", maybe even less because if you look at the bump stops they are pretty close to the axle. Rear maybe 12".

ah thanks guys I thought those were the number I had read somehwere before.

And Bob disconnect them and have fun buddy!!!!

does it affect anything else?If I disconnect the front, won't my springs come out when it goes all the way down? That's how I put the new ones in!

I see you already got the numbers, so I figured I'd put a picture of the travel they can get..

This is our x when it was stock (30x9.50 tires)... when I ramped it using a loading ramp...

As you can see, you don't get that much travel in the front (I think total travel may be the mentioned 8" or possibly slightly less)..

As for the rear, you can get a lot of travel..

Stock D35 TTB gets about 7" of travel, most of it is droop :)

The rear spring under Explorer I have not idea, I would say 10" or so.
