Wheels?

I know this is going to sound like a stupid question, but I just picked up a 1998 Explorer that has no spare tire. So I go digging around the internet just trying to figure out my bolt pattern so I can pick up a rim at the local junk yard. At least two major tire/wheel suppliers web sites tell me they can't give me info on wheels because my truck has "unique tire and wheel requirements that need specialized attention"? I assume this not the case. Reasonably sure we're talking about a 16x7 rim, 5x4.5 bolt pattern?

Most likely if it's stock wheels/tires, it's the 5x4.5 you speak of. just double check the tire size and try to keep the same for a spare.i say this cause if you have RWD, and a tire goes out, and you have 2 different size tires it'll wear out your rear end faster then normal.

but yeah, you should be able to find a spare at a yard pretty easily i'd imagine
