Where are all the Virginia Explorers??

Is there anyone in the Va Beach/Chesapeake area that would want to get together around town or know of any place around HR to go wheeling?

Just got my lift...'94 X, 4" superlift, 32x11.5 BFG AT (VERY PLEASED WITH THE LIFT I MIGHT ADD, good job Pungo Off Road!), Flowmaster Catback, pace setter headers, KKM intake, all kenwood sound system

So you went to pung huh? They did mine as well. I asked for a 4" and got 4 in the back and 5.5 in the front. They also promised me a couple of days, which turned into a week. I think if I wouldnt have bothered them so much, they would have taken 2 weeks. And then after being 5 days late, The owner told me to bring the beer. :fire: The only good thing was the price.

Wow, I didn't have any problems...mine was a day late they said because the springs for the rear weren't in. Other that that I got mine the day after I dropped it off. Have you had any problems with your lift other than the difference in height??

No except they said they would relocate the front brakelines but all they did was take the retaining nut off where the hard line is secured to the spring bucket and pull it through. I have talked to others that have had some half ass work done from them. Never again. Now that I look back on it, I could have done it myself. The rear could be done in hour or two. The front I'm guesing would be 6 to 8 because you would have to grind off a bunch of rivets. Oh well live and learn.

Depends on what you are looking for. The club that I am in goes a couple times a month. Right now, they are down in NC doing a little offroading for the weekend. 664 off of Portsmouth Blvd has a decent little spot if you are wanting to just throw some mud.

for anyone who is interested, the offroad club that i am in is going to either pungo or suffolk for some offroading april 30. there are a couple of places that just opened up. it cost $15 to offroad all dayh long. just let me know if you are interested and i will find out all the times, etc..

Where do you go in Suffolk and pay to offroad? Is it a park that recently opened or private land?

Sounds interesting. I'll be back May 6th. Is it just mud bogs or is there other stuff?

pretty much a lot of mud i believe. we are suppose to be going to uharwe (something like that) in May but it might get bumped because of monsters on the beach is in may. if it's open every weekend, i can see the guys going out there more often

anyone know where i can find an x with a blown motor? my buddies neighbor rolled his x and the only thing wrong is the body.

Wanted to say HI. I went to Crozet and was dissapointed to see no X's there. It was an awesome competition. Also I am Located 15 min from the national forest and know all the trails so if a run is started i couold lead if need be.

I am ready for a run in the GWNF. Sometime in middle May would work for me.

Crozet is open for wheeling (pay to play). Did you get to check out any of theit trails?

I didnt see all of the trails. I onyl saw the trails by the creeke bed where the compition was going on. They looked pretty hardcore. Looks like fun.

So what trails have you done in the GWNF around, Harrisonburg? Last trip we did second mountian and down Dictums. Any thin more challenging?

thos etwo trailsa are about as hard as it gets. the only other good one is kephart, but they shut it down half way.

if we go to the same spot as last weekend, then it will be off of damneck road close to the va beach ampitheater. I'll try to post a couple of pics of last weekend this evening, my neighbor has the disk with all the pics right now.
