I'm planning on heading up Saturday morning and backpacking in the area until we hit the trails. Do we have a time a location to meet up yet?

Well everyone from tidewater, we might have something for the 6th. Either Newport news or Poquson. Ive been to the newport news spot, been pulled over there and basically was told not to mess with any equiptment out there. The other spot i dont know much about , waiting on info.

here is your info i have been to poqouson a few times they call it that ball field because once upon a time it was a city park. i have had the cops come out and for disturbing the peace because someone was running open header but i hae heard people say that they were arrested... i say go at your own risk im not gonna tell you is its illeagal... i dont know. its pretty cool back there its not that big but there are some DEEP holes, its a fun place there are a few spots ive heard of in nn. ive never heard of a leagal spot, but there very well could be. where in nn is it located?

have you been to that hope haven, chis goes out there alot. i went one time and it was really fun.

Ive been with Chris once out there, it was pretty cool. Magruder (sp) Blvd. in NN. Ive been out there a few times. I almost rolled it once. Im up for Hope haven when ever, its alot closer to home

ive been to the magruder spot once it is a fun place i was ridning in my friends toyota and some local people yelled at us... i dont know if it is leagal or not ive never heard of people getting tickets out there

From what i have heard, cops are thereto make sure no one messes with the eq. out there. Nothing is posted and we have ridin past the cops sitting there. So I guess its all good

anyone one in the fairfax area up for a meet and greet? I saw some talk about it here but didn't know if any one was intrested. Wouldn't mind some beer wings and explorers

Well anybody wana do it? But it is getting colder out so unless we sit in our trucks i guess grilling is out the question. so like fairfax Hooters (****** and Beer) or the Buffalo Wing University ( yum had that for lunch today) there is even a Buffalo Wing Factory ( same as university I think the guys that own em are brothers) in Chantilly off of route 50 witch is like 5 min from my house but i can be in fairfax depending on traffic in like 10 - 20 min so whatever some one just pick a place, date and time

I work M-F 'til 5 and am willing to drive 'bout 30mins
else pick a weekend.
currently have plans for the weekend of the 20th for camping somewhere.
First weekend in Feb I have tentative plans.
