I want one but can't seem to find a Motorsports webpage to buy it; where can you get one?

Does it need to say "SVO"? I got my TA one from Randy's.

I'd rather have it say SVO than TA, but it also depends on how much more that extra letter will cost me :)

I have been looking also. I have been focusing on the Mustang magazines, but to no avail.

You should be able to get it from any dealer who sells Ford Motorsport parts.

there is a mustang performance place down the road.. i'll call em and ask them.

I think you can get one from CJ Pony Parts but you'll have to call them. I couldn't bring up their online parts catalog. I have a paper copy of the catalog at home, and I'm pretty sure I saw one in there.

Yep, just checked my catalog, and CJ Pony Parts carries them. Part # for the "SVO" labelled cover is M4033G and it goes for 174.95. They also have a cover that says "Saleen" on it. It's part # is SDC and it sells for 169.95. both covers are for the 8.8 and have girdle supports built in. The phone # for CJ Pony Parts is 1-800-888-6473, and they are located in Harrisburg, PA

Summit may have the SVO.

Summit was the first place I checked. They have "Trick Flow" and "Summit" labelled covers, but no "SVO" labelled covers. I also checked Jegs, and they don't have them either. (At least they don't list them in their catalogs, or on their websites)

I would not recommend them. I took chunks out of mine, and the way you wheel, you'll do the same ;) Get something like this:

1/2" plate flange, 1/4" plate for the rest, countersunk bolts. Texas Auto Gear can custom make them for any axle. They take a beating.

Thats nice Mudd*****, where'd you get it ? Do they make chrome diff covers?

I got it from Texas Auto Gear. There is a link in my sig. They are made from mild steel. I am sure that they could spray paint it chrome for you if that's what you want ;)

This same rear cover will increase the fluid capacity of the rear axle to nearly a gallon:eek: . I can also attest to the strength of that cover. I have one on my Dana 44 and regularly use it to move pesky rocks out of the way:D .

Ooohhhhh....... I think I may change my mind, now that I see that one :)

Black (or anyone that needs one) - call Rusty at 770.968.3412. He'll get you one cheaper than your local dealerships will, unless you get parts at wholesale. Tell him David gave you his number and could help.

He is a very good friend of mine, and is the Parts Manager for Spartan Lincoln Mercury in Atlanta. He'll help you with any parts you need...

;)
