Hi I was just wondering where you have put your tweeters with front components. That and will 6.5's (with an adapter ring) fit? If so What kind of depth is there with out interfering with the windows. If there is not much depth, how far out can you come with out hitting the door panel.
I am setting this up for SQ and stage. Kenwood HU, OZ Victor front components (eather 6.5 if they will fit or 5.25) rear doors, not a clue yet if at all, Alpine 75x4 rms amp for the doors, 10in Audiobahn sub and amp (120w rms) about 200sq ft of RAAMMAT. O this is a 97 EB
thanks Dave

I got mine in about the same location, but with boston acoustic component sets they come with tweeter pods on angles, so I mounted mine to the best suiting surface. As for the 6.5's, I used 3/4" mdf and made speaker adaptors for them and they fit behind the door panels and do not hit the window stuff behind them. However with 1/4 inch plates instead of the 3/4" ones, they did hit the window bars, and stuck out about 1/4".

I have seen this spot and like it. But I thought it might be a bit far away from the mid's and put the tweeter off axis or be forced to run a high x-over point 5k or higher to get a good stage. Or dose it work out well?

Wire up the mids...leave a long length of wire for the tweeters...get some tape and experiment with the tweeters in different locations and see what sounds best to you.
