Hello all,

I have been on the hunt for along time for a certain parts for my stock 1993 ford explorer 2 door. My wife broke the passanger door pull/ arm rest. I have no power options on my door. I have ordered parts catalogs and spent man hours on the net, junkyards and dealerships. All that I can find is the 2 part door pulls for the ones with options, I have a blue interior and the door pull looks like longer version of the rear doors on the 4 door versions just a long straight pad with the handle built in. I WOULD have fixed it but my wife pulls the door so hard that it would door no good. if I cant find it I will have to try and fix it but would put a "holy ****" just above it for her to use as a pull but I cant even find that. Anyone know of a website or vintage dealer that might have the part(s) that I need. I am trying to keep it as original as possible it very little mods to the whole thing!

I love this site the people are great and they are so friendly and informative.

my driver side door handle was broken, ordered one off ebay for $17.95 with free shipping. Got it within five days and good to go. I have power windows, locks and mirrors. hum...

tennesseeautosales is the ebay users name I got mine from. Brand new :)

I was happy with my purchase but had to use a grinder to remove the old one after pulling the entire door panel off. then put metal clips in the back of the new one to hold it in. I think there were 18 metal clips needed and I was sent 20. Just push them on with pliers ;)

edit: I forgot to say that I shopped around for mine for over a week. Most on ebay were over $25 plus $15 or more for shipping. So all in all he or she saved me some money :D

hey thanks all I gotta find this cause my wife's 83 year old grandma was trying to get in the truck the other day and when the handle finally decided to give out!!!!

I need this elusive blue handle too... no luck personally, closest I found was one in a scrapyard but it was still damaged. Seems these are an uncommon style. My drivers side one is pretty much trashed.

Subscribing to this thread - hope someone has a source for these parts!

I bought a new one. I could only find it in gray as I remember. Then went to an upholstery shop and they dyed it the correct color for me.

Thanks for the link - that is a neat site. I browsed the catalog but I can't seem to find the handle for the 2 door with manual windows/locks, only the 4 door style. Page 16 is the closest I got. I couldn't find a Limited bumper either :(

Any suggestions or am I missing something?

...The first thing I do when I can't find the parts in the catalog, I contact them...Sometimes you can get lucky...

...The bumper will be harder to find though...
