That chip thing goes on the IAT sensor--
Intake-Air -Temperature sensor---which is located in the intake tube--it is small, with 2 wires going to it.
The "chip thing" is a resistor, which is supposed to trick your vehicles computer into a "richer" fuel mixture. The claim is more horsepower, and better throttle response.
However, don't bother--it will not make your truck run better.
To whom it my concern do not git this chip it sucks so bad. It actually made my truck run like $#!* it had a low rpm and sent to much fuel to it. It sucked so bad.
