My check engine light keeps coming on so i bought a code reader form wlmart. where do i attach it? somewhere underhood. i can't find where to plug it.

also, anyony know the weight of my truck? its a 4 door, 2wd 94.

thank you

If the 1994 is like the 1992 v6 OHV.. it was passenger side.. by the firewall.. there is/should be a cap over the connection.. It just kinda hangs there.. (by the fuses)

There should be a plug right under you STEARING WHEEL if yours is like my 98 don't see why it would not be! Hope this helps

Mainak's right. It's next to the left fender just behind the fuse box. If you haven't already opened the code reader box, you might want to return it. You can read the codes with a jumper wire and the check engine light on the dash. If you get yourself a Haynes manual, it tells you how to do it. You won't be able to read all the codes, but you will be able to read the majority. I don't know what your code reader cost, but I would be surprised if the manual weren't cheaper.
