Well winter is coming back, and it looks like my truck will be outside this year.

I'm looking for an engine block heater (the freeze plug kind). The dealer wants like $85 for it, so I'm looking elsewhere. My local auto parts store doesn't carry them, so I ask if anyone knows an online store that has them.

Thanks.

Heck man I can get these every day for like $15. As a matter in fact I bought a rolling tool box that had one brand new in it. Let me check on what it fits and if it'll work it's yours just pay shipping. Sound good!?

Wow, that would be great. I don't know why I'm having so much trouble with this, but I guess it's just one of those things...

Anyway, let me know what you want for it, and I'll be more than happy to take it.

When I get home I will check the part number and make some calls. I will let you know tomorrow.

I paid $55 for mine, it is a kit, came with the heater and the power cord with clips.

Nice to go out on a cold winters day and be warm instantaneously.

Dang it! I forgot to check last night I got home around 8pm and just plain forgot. Does anyone know how different most freezeplugs are?
