Where to put switches

If i read this post correctly i think it was to hide switches for neon lights? what are you going to do one day if your driving down the street and your parents are in the other lane driving towrds you and your car is glowing like a UFO? How would you explain that one? you will then get the different speech that goes like ... if you hid this from us for so long what else are you hiding from us and then all your trust will be gone.

Plus with every electrical installation comes taking the risk of something going wrong and if something short circuits and causes a fire or somethjing that will be another thing of your parents finding out the bad way.

I personally would rather get the your spending too much money speech than the your an idiot and your hiding things from us now look what happened your car is nothing but ash in the driveway.

I had a friend who never told his parents that he smoked. Well anyway he was at a local dunkin doughnuts when his parents drove by and saw him with a cigerette. They called his cell phone and asked him what he was doing he said nothing. Then his parents drove into the parking lot and asked him again what was he doing. They got out of the car and gave him a lecture infront of all his friends and embaressed the **** out of him. That whole conversatin would have gone much smoother if it was at home and he had admitted it to them rather than hid it from them. Either way it was still the funniest **** i ever saw.

99explorer5.0 you make a couple of good points, however:
1.)Only a few neons (BLue inside under the seats, and one 3ft green in the grill

2.)I spent 3 summers doing electrical work with my father and never once started an electrical fire! By the end of the first week i was wiring distribution panels!

Also I have some info about my parents that the other doesn't know about... hint hint blackmail!

Yes...blackmail is always good to have. It is really good when you can have that blackmail on your parents. For example...i found out my dad had bought all kinds of performance parts and brake parts for his new M3. Usually, this would not be a problem...but my stepmom...the hella-***** from houston told him that every penny he spends on his car...she gets to spend either on her Lexus or on shopping and whatnot. Since my pops got carried away and spent around 5 g's on the M3 .....he couldn't afford at the time to spend anymore. So, i basically, when he could afford to spend some more money...i convinced him that it would be better to spend it on a EE suspension kit that costs like $800....rather than spending 5 g's on my the hella-*****'s car. The evil-stepmother never found out about the parts...and i got what i wanted too. YAY BLACKMAIL...

Are you asking about mine or Jonny 5's? Mine are for rooftop lights. My truck's for wheelin' not showin'.

Mine

Mine are setup for my roof lights and my front brush gurad lights. I still have a set of KC Hilites to put on the back of my roof rack. That will be the fourth switch. the Roof lights are hooked up in pairs. the two inside and the two outside.
