PIAA 520's or KC Daylighters? I want the PIAA's, but dont want the price. I like the KC price, but dont want the bad quality? What to do?

Not sure what you mean about bad quality of the KC's. I've had Daylighters for years and I love 'em. They also come with a 23 year warranty on everything. Can't beat that. Light burns out?? They replace 'em...Housing rusts??? They replace 'em....I have 2 sets on my Explorer now....

Really,I didnt know they had that kind of warranty. How much did you pay for a pair, and what is the difficulty of installation?

Installing them is no different than installing any brand of lights. Find a place to mount them, install the wires and relay, find a place for the switch and you're done. (Yeah, I know, it's never THAT easy :) )

Pricing depends upon which lights you get. My sealed beam 385,000 candlepower daylighters ran somewhere around $120/pair including wiring harness's, and my 5", 100 watt Auxiliary lights are about $110/pair

Do they come with the harness and relays and switches? Also, do they come with lens proctectors and where might i be able to buy a pair? Ohyeah, do you have a pic of what the switch looks like? I just wanna know so i can look for a good place to mount it.

You can get them from Dead Link Removed . Switch is a standard rocker switch. If ya do a search here on "switch" you'll find a couple of threads on where to put your switches.

you think autozone or pepboys carries em?

Couldn't tell ya. Check their websites...

Thanks for the help man

you can get the daylighter covers at pep boys, i think you should be able to get the lights also at pep boys. i looked at autozone but couldnt find kc lights.

MattStarr , Look at Desert Rat, they carry KC lights and have the best prices I've seen on them yet.Check out their website.

I see they have Daylighters for about 69-79$.... But is that for each light or is that for the set?

Hey Matt.

I got mine at Summit Racing for $89. It came with 2 lights, complete wiring, 1 relay, 1 switch, and the instruction. I put their 23 year warranty to the test after 5 years. No questions ask, I received new lights in 2 weeks.

btw, I sold my brush guard to LiKuiD with the same KC Lites. :)

I saw that thread earlier, but I though your brushguard was silver/gray in color?

I believe Desert Rat sells them by the pair, above the cost it says price/pair... i'd call to be sure.
and thanks MattStarr for the brushguard help,if I have any ?'s i'll be sure to PM ya.

No problem thanks for the help and your welcome for the help:) See how that works;)

The buyer requested to change the color to a traditional black. Hey, the customer is always right. So, I changed it to black before I sold it. :)
