which shackle should i go with ?

i went to an auto store the other day and saw some kind of adjustable shackle for about $14. was wondering should i go with the adjustable shackle for 14 or buy the warrior shackles for about 60. it also looked like the adjustable shackle would give me more lift than the other one. thanks for any help.

Those things look pretty flimsy (there's no cross brace). I just go my Warrior shackles and they are amazingly overbuilt.. these things won't fail!

Or you could do what i did. I built my own shackles. Inch and a quarter longer then the warriors, and a bit sturdier also. Ill let ya know how the install goes.

well my dad actually did all the work... we did it right in our garage. Mainly we used a couple peices of flat stock, same width as the warriors. if you have warriors take all the measurents as them and build the exact same thing as them but however much longer you want. we used flat stock and laid them out with the holes already drilled with the drill press and welded a piece of square stock between them and thats about it.....we built them last night.... ohhh yeah a little suggestion, when building them put a few holes on one end, the same length as the warrior, a1 1/4 inch further and then another 2.5 inches further from the warrior... simply so you can adjust it way faster then building new. hope this helped you out... i dont know how well i did explaining....
