Goodyear Wrangler MTR's, Procomp X-terrains, BFG MT KM's.......

If you don't ever travel through mud, you may want to consider an AT tire. The BFG AT is one of the best.

I like my Deuller A/Ts by Bridgestone. They are great in all aspects though leave a bit to be desired when in thick sticky slick mud...

well if you mud like your name says then what I am going to post isnt necessarily for you but I have 33x12.5 procpm at and I love them. I dont offroad a lot but I find mud here and there and in VT there is plenty of snow and I like them better than dunlops and I might even say better than BFG ATs and they are certainly less expensive. Self clean well and dont pick up a lot of rocks like my dad's BFG ATs. I have also heard lots of good things about Procomp MTs. They say the clean better than BFG MTs and the procomps have siping which is better for road manners especially in wet, pack snow, and ice conditions but I doubt you see much of that in VA. At least not like I do. If you specify what you are looking for a bit more you might get better results. Like how much do you honestly offroad, what kind do you do, do you mind having to get new rubbers after not that many miles b/c you got softer rubber in a agressive offroad tire. My pick is procomp ATs.

I reccomend the Xterrains. It's already being discussed:

Bridgestone Dueler AT REVO tires are excellent so far. Had them installed today on my stock 2001 EB (I was able to fit P275/70R16 with no trimming or rubbing. At full lock it will rub on the sway bar but thats expected of any larger tire.
They have a pretty agressive tread, 50,000 mile treadlife warentee and look pretty sweet.
They are queit on the road...no louder then my stock Wrangler RT/S and they ride better then the stock tires.

I love my Goodyear MT/R's! They take care of our VA mud. I had a set of BFG MT's on before the MT/R's and they were pretty good. They are a bit quieter than the MT/R's, but didn't clean themselves or gripped on rocks/stumps as well. I also had a set of BFG AT's before the MT's and they might be the best AT tire I have seen. I had them on for like 45-50K miles and they have like 6/32's of tread left (for a comparrison, you need 2/32's to pass VA state inspection).

So if you are looking for a Mud tire, go MT/R's or is you are looking for a All Terrain tire, so BFG AT's, or consider the Goodyear AT/S if you want a little stiffer tire.
