I have a '03 V-6 XLT. I have a high pitched whistle at any RPM whether in idle or not, while moving or sitting still. Giving it gas doesn't change it's pitch, that's why I was thinking it's not the infamous IAC.
Now also I am noticing that when I shut the truck off, there is a clicking noise coinciding with either the fan blades or the belt hitting something. Only when I'm shutting off the truck, not when it's running. Anyone have any ideas? I have an Appt. Monday at the Ford dealer, but I was wondering what it might be.
