I didn't have my bike for long and I don't know much about working on them but I would like to try fixing it myself. its a 2001 Kawasaki Vulcan 500. Yesterday I came back from riding it and it fell over sitting in my driveway while I was opening the garage and taking off my helmet.
I don't know if the kickstand didn't lock in place or what happend. It sucks that I got a dent in the gas tank but I can live with that since I bought the bike used and it already had a dent from something being dropped on the front fender. My problem is that the shifter got bent so I pulled it back out a little and now I can only get in first gear and neutral.
I'm going to have a friend look at it that works on dirt bikes a lot but i could use any extra help if someone here has any other ideas about it.
