Well guys, after much debate and comparisons and trips to different audio places, I finally bought a new sub, an a/d/s/ 310rs.2. I went to install it and...doh!! It doesn't fit in my Stealthbox! The depth is fine, but the trim ring on the front of the new sub is too wide and it won't mount properly in the hole. So, I am going to have a custom box built for it that will fit in the same location as the Stealthbox. This will actually work out better anyway since I can have it built to the correct airspace.
So now I need to get rid of my Stealthbox. I thought I'd offer it to all of you first before I threw it up on eBay.
This is a genuine JL Audio Stealthbox. Not a Vantage, MTX, QLogic, etc. It has been used less than a year and was installed by an authorized JL dealer. I listen to rock, not rap or techno, so it hasn't been abused. The sub is getting 300 watts of clean Xtant power. Now, here's the best part: I have upgraded the sub from the 10W0 (JL's bottom-line sub that comes with the Stealthbox) to a 10W6, which is JL's top-of-the-line SQ sub.
I paid $600 for the Stealthbox and $220 for the 10W6. I will sell the whole thing for $550. Anyone interested?
