On my 94 Sport I have the Firestone ATX tires . If there is more than 28psi in the tires the truck shakes like crazy going more than 65MPH. Might be worth checking your pressure.
Help my 94 EB Explorer 4 door shakes violently between 55 & 75 mph. Front end problems ruled out tires and balancing ruled out. This shaking rattles everything in the vehicle (seats, console, steering wheel & me)
Ine does this too. I thought it was just the tires. I run about 30psi in them. With the stock tires it did not shake at interstate speed. I also noticed that if I have my air or heat on, it shakes my console and the two compartments uinder the radio, something to do with the rear heating and air I think.

i had a car that had these same problems turned out to be a weight off of the driveshaft. there are small flat weights on there and if one comes off then it would cause the vibration you are talking about too. just something else for you to check. good luck , Later

i have (4) goodyear somethings that have been on there for forever i guess and the tire people say that they're out of round, which is causing the shaking...so i'll probably end up with 4 new dunlop p-metrics Dead Link Removed
The '91-'94s were notorious for front tire cupping or uneven wear because of the twin I-beam suspension. Cupping will cause the shakes regardless of balance or not because it is not perfectly round. This sometimes worn shocks may also cause both tire wear and shakes.
