Very Nice, how long before the trimming begins and they are installed?? Nice Work.

well if i can get away with no rubbing with the front bumper off, like it was last week, i might just do that untill i get the spindles and the add a leaf,

but then again i havent bought the other 4 wheels/rims yet so perhaps ill just do the lift first, then get the rest,

i should be able to do either or, by the end of the month at the latest, but i might get paid sooner for some software im writing for a company. If only things didnt cost money

So i tried on the tires, and it would rub obviously so i went ahead ond ordered som 3" spindles and the pro comp add a leaf so that will make that gap a little better :D

Whoa that looks mean, your stockers look like donuts in comparison. It looks like the tires wont rub at all, plenty of room, as long as you go straight..... LOL

Truck looks amazing. I love ordering parts too, its the bill that comes after I dont care for...

which add-a-leaf kit did you buy?

I thought there was one (ProComp?) that had an AAL kit that did come with 2 leafs per side.

I just ordered 5 of these myself:

thank you Amazon.com and FREE "Super Saver" Shipping, which turned out to be 2-day UPS. To Alaska, even.
Free 2-day UPS Air to Alaska. That's easily over $50/rim and I got it free. WOO!

ah, you ordered the 2WD Explorer add-a-leaf kit, didn't ya?

95-02 Explorer 2WD 13135 (Dual Leaf)

directly from ProComp's catalog. Supposed to be 2 leafs per side ;)

got the spindles too and got it all done today!!

heres a preview with the extra 3", ill take some better pictures later

Wait a second.. So you have :

Rear Shackles
Torsion Twist
Body Lift

and Spindles + AAL?

What exactly are the spindles.. and how can I get some!

I have a 2000 Explorer Eddie Bauer. Please let me know

haha yeah, im goin all out lol

I got em from ebay, they are for a 2wd, but just search for ford explorer 3" spindle lift,

they just bolted right on no prob, the only thing i might do is get a longer break line hose, the stock one is a little tight now when its turned all the way

So those will work for you 4wd??

Think you could fit 35"s?

This is awesome.. I really want to do this, your my idle :D

mines a 2wd :(

So if you got a 4wd then they wouldnt work sorry

but yeah i can fit my 35's now, thats what the spare is on the roof, i will hopefully get the rest soon now, they are 12.5 wide too, but I got 10" rims with a offset that doesn't make the tires stick in on the inside any further, all the extra width goes outside

Damn. So other than a full blow 2,000+ suspension lift, my explorer's stuck where it is?

yup.
and the only one left is Superlift, as apparently RCD and Trailmaster stopped making theirs (atleast, they are no longer listed on their respective websites).

Unless you want to go to a $3000 lift and get a Dixon Bros Racing long travel suspension

It looks great. Its gonna be a monster when you put the 35's on. Where did you get your roof rack basket?

Mounting brush guard

here we go, got the bracket cut and welded back on, and got the rest of th mounts on, just used and impact wrench and a monkey wrench

just need to get the back bumper now :D

Can you please post some better pics of what your brackets look like now? I'm trying to do this soon too. Thanks for your help.
