East Orange New Jersey, (near Newark)
Anyone has any 4x4 shops in the New Jersye Area??

OK4x4 in stewartsville, NJ. Meadowlands 4wd near Rutherford.

I teach music in Belleville, so close by. Welcome aboard!

Pretty decent shops?? And thank you!! Do you 4x4 around some trails here???

Wow one of those shops closed down, Many other 4x4 threads like dodge, F-150 and toytoa is posting about it

Which one? I hope not OK4x4. That's my favorite!

Meadowland4wd, I hear it was a good shop, kinda dissapointed cause it was actually closer, but hey, another road trip doesn't hurt. Now what did you get done on your gig? And was the prices decent?

I did most of the work myself. I purchased the springs, lites, and brush-guard from them tho.

I didn't see a huge collection of explorer stuff, does the shop have to make modifications?

THere IS no explorer stuff available, that's the problem. My springs are made by OME, OK is an OME dealer so they got them for me. My brush guard is by Manik, again they are a dealer. The lites I just bought while I was there. If you're looking for suspension kits, etc. Good luck. THere are a few, but I don't know who sells them. There really is no market for explorer off road stuff I guess. All us on the board here just piece together what we can, and hope for the best. Most of the real wheelers are doing solid axle swaps so yeah, that's a custom job either by you or a good shop.Good luck!
