I love our 2000 eddie bauer, but the body leans so much, swaying back and forth when making turns over speed bumps, or turning over any variation in the road. We had a '95 Blazer that seemed much more stable when turning. Why so much body tilt in the Explorer?

You can remedy this situation by installing better shocks ( such as ISA by Edelbrock ) as well as installing a beefier rear sway bar with poly bushings.

Good luck......

The Explorer is much more top heavy than the Blazer, it also sits a tad higher. The mods mentioned will help. You may even consider lowering it an inch or so to help handling and performance.

You might also check the sway bar mounts to make sure they aren't broken. Mine did that when I first got it and leaned waaay over in the slowest turns. turns out on was broke.

I lowered mine an 1" and that helped tremendously, as it lowered the center of gravity that much. You might want to find a different set of tires,my Goodyear Wranger RTS flex a lot so it feels like it's wallowing in small slow bumps.

I concur with the lowering opinions.

When I dropped mine, oh what a difference in handeling.
