I wan to use 33'' tires on my 97 XLT 4door 4wd it's being hard to find kits. (I guess the body lift kit would be the most reasonable option)

I allways find body lift kits for up to 94's and 00' and later. Searched the P.A. and other websites and coudn't find it. Questions:

1) Is there any huge difference on the 96 to 99 suspension (gen 2??)
2) Does enyone body lifted a 97? How hard is that? Which kit have you used?
3) I just want to use 33 tires, is the 3'' body lift enought??
4) Any step-by-step tips for the installation (I'm planning to do it in my garage)

Thanks,
Marco

Welcome to the site. This has been discussed many times. I've sent letters to the Performance Accessories trying to get them to make two kits for us but unfortunatley nothing happened. Since you have a 97, what you can do is get the PA#853 body lift for the Ranger and either get bumper brackets from the PA#883 body lift or make the brackets yourself from the drawings on this site.
