why wont brake lights come on?

i have 1994 explorer and out of the blue my brake lights wont come on i changed the fuse and it came back on then it stop working again? i just was wondering was it something simple before i spend any money trying to get it fixed

Is the fuse blown again, after you changed it once? If so, I'd suspect a short somewhere.
 






Check to make sure that the switch on the brake pedal (BOO switch)isn't messed up, and that the wires to it are all ok.Good luck!
 












Mine stopped working before, and the fuse was good. I unclipped the switch from the brake pedal and hit it with a small brush and some WD40, it's been fine since.
 






thanks for the help i fixed it, it was a wire that goes to the brake switch that was loose once again thanks.:)
