Hey guyz, I have a 1992 Eddie Ex, I am wondering if there is any way to basically make the wheel base wider. Like push out the front and back wheels past the edge of the body. I'm thinking there is some kind of spacer maybe, idk i'm just inquiring. Thanks for responding.:exp:

There are spacers available. Some are better then others, and some just suck. They will all, however, cause more wear and tear damage to your X, as you are putting more stress on the suspension and drivetrain.

I would suggest you get the ones that you bolt to your hubs, and then you bolt your wheels to the spacers studs. Don't go over an inch though.

Offset rims will space the tires out wider.

Also you can modify your front TTB for a wider track width, cut and turned beams, this will require a custom outer axle shaft on the passenger side however.. :)

wider tires and wider rims with a wider backspacing is the easiest and safest way.

I just replaced my original alloys with some aftermarket Eagle Rims. My wheels now are about 2 inches further out because of the difference in the rim's offset.

Next week my Ex will be lifted appx 4.5 inches so this will help with stability.
