Before I put my D44 and 9" on from a '77 Bronco, I wanted to change the gearing and put in some lockers. I was checking out 4Wheelparts, and they have a package deal, rear Detroit locker, front LS, but the highest gearing they have is the 4.56. I was hoping to get the 4.88. I will be running 35's and It will probably be my daily driver for a little while.

Does this look like a good deal with the 4.56's?

4.56 will be good, 4.88s would be a bit better though. Not much difference, only about 150 rpm.

Yeah, go 4.88 with 35".

Try calling them and see if you can get 4.88s with that package. 4WP often doesn't list all parts available on their website.

That is...if 4.88s are available for those axles....

Ok, I never thought of that. I'll talk to them.
