Will a 95 explore engine fit in a 98

Hi, the timing jump and killed my 98 explorer engine. Wondering if anyone knows a 95 explorer engine will fit in it and what modifications is needed? Thanks!

iuf your 98 engine is a SOHC 4.0L then no a 95 will not work

You need a 97+ 4.0L SOHC from a Explorer or 2001+ from a Ranger
