will a rear hastch from a 95-99 ex fit on a 93 ex

i am in the need of a new rear hatch and i have a buddy with a junked 96 ex i was thinking about putting the back door from that on my 93. would it fit. if so will the front clip also fit on. i know the clip will need some mods i am good with metal fab and welding so thats not a problem but will the fit

I'm pretty sure the rear hatch didn't change until 97 aside from slight differences like moldings. And i think the front end is the same size on all of them, i say give it a shot if your good at those things, worst comes to worst it doesn't work and you just put your old stuff back on. It'd be cool to see. FYI Perry's Fiberglass does sell 1st gen to 2ng gen fiberglass conversion kits, but it sounds like you can work with what you have. good luck :thumbsup:

1st gen with 2nd gen front. I'm liking the idea! Good luck. You'll probably have to swap more things out than you think though.
