2008, Exploder and its AWD with selectable Hi-Lo. It’s an open diff in the front and rear. Will adding a limited slip to the rear and a locker to the front mess with the awd system? I read somewhere the awd is measured by wheel slip and don’t want to destroy anything, just want to be more capable off-road.

I really don't think that a limited slip diff would cause an issue. More than likely it was available as a factory installed option in '08.

With awd you'd want a manual, selectable locker in front.

Highway speed on slick roads with locked front diff is deadly

I would leave the front open and go with a very positive limited slip rear. Something like a Auburn Gear unit.

You could contact the manufacturer and ask them specific questions relating to the AWD transfer case.

Do these use brakes to aid in traction control? If so, a locker isn’t going to be a good thing.
