1999 ranger 4x4 4.0 engine take to crank pops back, smoke comes out exhaust white smoke floods plugs bad tried new mass air, new coil, replace temp sensor, crank sensor, run compression test good fuel pressure good checked injectors looks like they are spraying fuel properly check cam sensor ok replace upper and lower intake gaskets change pcm disconnected evap system ohmed out wires to pcm can anybody give me any help

So major symptoms are gas fouled plugs, and white smoke? When you did fuel pressure, did you do leakdown? What were your fuel pressure numbers? Have you looked at the cat converter at all? I'm just fishing around, but some of this sounds like a clogged converter.

converter, a coworker of mine had similar problems with his malibu, after sinking money into it with no change he changed his converter. Problem solved
