I am getting ready to install a 2" Sky Jacker lift on my 93 XLT 2WD. Will they shocks that I have on now (Bilistein(sp)work with the extra 2"? The rep at Sky Jacker said my shocks will work, but friends at work say they will not. Need some help on this one. My shocks are only a year old and I would hate to throw away $200, but if that is what needs to be done so be it.

You should be able to use your shocks. Any more than 2" and you'd have to buy new ones but 2" or less should be fine. Product reps aren't always right but in this case I believe he was.

Mike I take back what I said about putting 30's stick with the 31's. Jus tremember that you will need to regear. I know that if I put 31's on my truck it would be really slow with those 3.27 gears.
