winch bumpers

I am looking for a HEAVY DUTY winch mount bumper for my 93 XLT,capable of holding a 9000lb. winch. Prerunner style would be great or something similar to an ARB would also be ok. The vehicle is used as a prerunner/ chase truck and does some regular four wheelin' mainly in the mountains. I have searched the web and not found anything. Is there anything out there or am I going to have to make my own? Thanks . Richard

For the cost of the TJMs and othe bumpers, you are better off building your own.

What I would really like is something similar to the pre-runner style winch bumper that is made by Proto-fab for the Jeep Cherokee. I guess I'll have to make my own. Richard

James Duff has a Winch mount Prerunner Bumper. it Looks alot like the one I have on the Front of my Navajo (I have the Reciver style) Ask any one on the board that has seen mine in person and let them tell you how strong this thing is.

Thanks for the links and pics guys. I've been to most of them before. Other than James Duff, the ones that came the closest to what I want were from RockStomper and Protofab. My brother owns a fab shop so I think I'll see if he can make me one up that is similar to the Protofab and RockStomper bumper. Richard

Uh, I've got a strengthened smitty built... it's got an 8000 lb Ramsey winch on it.
